Przez dwa dni muzycznego, w sopockiej Operze Leśnej publiczność oraz widzowie Polsatu mieli prawdziwą, muzyczna ucztę. Podczas piątkowego wieczoru w koncercie Life is life - Przełomowe Lata 80-te, wystąpili Rick Astley, Belinda Carlisle, Helena Vondraćkowa, zabierając słuchaczy w sentymentalną podroż do lat minionych. W drugim tego wieczoru koncercie - "TOP OF THE TOP" o nagrodę Bursztynowego Słowika walczyło dwunastu młodych wykonawców z Europy. W głosowaniu sms-owych, sympatię widzów, a tym samym prestiżową nagrodę zdobyła francuska wokalistka Imany. Nagrodę specjalną otrzymała brytyjska piosenkarka Amy MacDonald. Drugą festiwalową noc prowadził jeden z najlepszych, polsatowskich duetów - Paulina Sykut-Jeżyna oraz Maciej Rock. Na scenie pojawił się DJ Bobo. Występ Sylwii Grzeszczak wywołał prawdziwie szczery aplauz, a piosenkę Pożyczony, śpiewał cały sopocki amfiteatr. Zwycięzca Must Be The Music, zespół Enej, który wykonał wakacyjne przeboje tego lata. Natalia Schroeder i Liber zagrzewają publiczność. Na scenie Urszula z hitem Konik na biegunach, a zaraz po niej zespół Pectus, który odbiera złotą płytą. Tego wieczoru wystąpili jeszcze Honey, która zachwyciła nową fryzura, zespół Lemon, Margaret oraz Rafała Brzozowskiego. Długo oczekiwany występ Edyty Górniak przyjęto owacjami.
Juliusz Braun został odznaczony przez prezydenta Krzyżem Komandorskim Orderu Odrodzenia Polski, natomiast Bogusław Chrabota, Jarosław Gugała, Tomasz Lis, Edward Miszczak, Edward Krzemień, Jarosław Kurski, Małgorzata Szejnert i Sławomir Siwek - Krzyżami Oficerskimi Orderu Odrodzenia Polski.
W studiu "Dzień Dobry TVN" odbyła się konferencja prasowa, podczas której gospodarze programu opowiedzieli o nowościach pasma śniadaniowego i przedstawili nowych członków zespołu - Annę Kalczyńską, Urszulę Chincz i Mateusza Hładkiego. Na konferencji nie zabrakło rzecz jasna gwiazd "DDTVN" - dziennikarzy, reporterów, prezenterów pogody - Doroty Wellman i Marcina Prokopa, Kingi Rusin i Bartka Węglarczyka, Magdaleny Mołek i Marcina Mellera, Anny Wendzikowskiej, Filipa Chajzera, Agnieszki Jastrzębskiej, Doroty Gardias, czy Bartka Jędrzejaka.
Dorota Gardias wygrała w plebiscycie Kobieta Roku TVN Turbo i miesięcznika “Playboy”. Nagrodę pogodynka odebrała podczas gali, która odbyła się w środę 7 grudnia br. w Teatrze Capitol w Warszawie. Podczas ceremonii rozdano też nagrody w konkursie Męska Rzecz. Galę poprowadzili Kasia Pakosińska i Marcin Prokop.
W zabrzańskim Domu Muzyki i Tańca odbyły się castingi do czwartej edycji talent-show TVN "X Factor". Uczestników oceniali Kuba Wojewódzki, Tatiana Okupnik, Czesław Mozil i debiutująca w tej roli Ewa Farna.
W poniedziałek w hotelu Double Tree by Hilton wręczono Telekamery 2015.
Tłumy warszawiaków odwiedziły w niedzielę Stadion Narodowy, by hucznie świętować jego otwarcie. Imponująca budowla robiła wrażenie na wszystkich, którzy dostali się na trybuny i ogromną płytę boiska.
Dawid Podsiadło zdobył aż cztery statuetki podczas tegorocznej jubileuszowej 20. gali Fryderyków, która odbyła się w czwartek w warszawskiej Sali Kongresowej. Nagrodzono również m.in. Włodka Pawlika, Dominika Wanię i Piotra Beczałę. Muzycy odebrali statuetki w trzech sekcjach: rozrywkowej, jazzowej oraz muzyki poważnej.
Film "Grawitacja" zdominował Oscary, zwyciężając w siedmiu kategoriach. Główna nagroda Akademii Filmowej trafiła do twórców obrazu "Zniewolony. 12 Years a Slave".
Andrzej Wajda otrzymał Nagrodę Specjalną w plebiscycie Kryształowe Zwierciadła 2011, zaś dwie pozostałe statuetki powędrowały do Karoliny Gruszki i Grzegorza Brala. Nagrody rozdano podczas gali, która odbyła się w poniedziałek 30 maja br. w ogrodach warszawskiej Królikarni. Wieczór uświetnił występ Edyty Bartosiewicz.
